The 2011 WPA Christmas party has come and gone. With 58 members in attendance it was enjoyed by all. Our President Dave Wheeler facilitated the evening fun. We had scrumptious meals of steak, chicken penne, seafood penne or salmon with all the trimmings, along with delectable chocolates, cheese cake and cakes for dessert. The Dickens Carolers stopped in to bring us all into the Christmas spirit with songs new and old that entertained us.

Thank you to the sponsors!

And there were gifts. Several restaurants donated to our event including delicious Restaurant NASA on the interestingly multi-aircraft Arlington Airport, The Blue Water Bar and Grill located in beautiful Friday Harbor, The Airport Diner, Bremerton, otherwise known as the best fish and chips place around, and Anthony’s Woodfire Grill, Everett, whose delightful food and great service we were enjoying.  We also received wonderfully useful gifts from our friends at Oregon Aero; Scappoose, OR, Paine Field Airport, Regal Air, Castle and Cooke, Crown Aviation; Everett, WA, and National Aviation; Boeing Field, Seattle, WA.  To see the contact information for all of these sponsors please click the hyper link on each one of them.  Please show your thanks and appreciation by making it a point to enjoy their services your self in the New Year.

Thank you to the elves!

Many thanks to the Christmas Elves that helped with the Christmas party this year: Our Pres. Dave Wheeler for his help and support; Lori Bell, for arranging for the yummy desserts; Gary Hill and Dick Kinnier for their outreach work with sponsors; Greg Bell for doing his Treasurer thing which kept people contented; Dave Prutzman for the organizing and creation of the attractive reusable name tags, Les Smith for organizing the Christmas House toy drive, and Rebecca Monaghan, General Manager of the Woodfire Grill who was wonderful to work with.

And, Thank you one and all for making the 2011 Christmas party a night to remember.
